Your quiet stays yours.
Lastlight Android 0.1.0 works locally. There is no account, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, cloud synchronization, or developer server connection in the release app.
What the app uses
With your explicit permission, Android Accessibility observes foreground app identifiers and timing. It uses those identifiers to interrupt apps you selected during your quiet boundary. The service is configured not to retrieve window content. It does not read screen text, messages, posts, passwords, or keystrokes.
What stays on the device
Your chosen app identifiers, schedule, allowance, session timing, observed quiet duration, interrupted opening count, bypass count, and earned story chapters are saved in the app’s private Android preferences. This data is not transmitted to us. App-data backup is disabled in the Android manifest.
Your control
You can change your selections outside an active quiet session, intentionally end a session, or disable Lastlight in Android Accessibility settings. Clearing app storage or uninstalling deletes the app’s saved progress and settings. Disabling the service ends enforcement; this app is not an unbreakable parental control.
Website and iOS preview
The website demo is a simulation and cannot inspect or control other apps. The site uses externally hosted Google Fonts and is served by Sites hosting; those providers receive ordinary page-resource requests. The iOS project currently exposes a preview with local preferences. Native iOS blocking is not yet available.
Early access limitations
Battery restrictions, a stopped accessibility service, device software differences, or a changed device clock may affect enforcement and rewards. Lastlight does not measure sleep or provide medical treatment. Please report feedback to the person who shared this early build with you.
